Summary (Albania)
Here it is another world, because everything is so different from the countries crossed earlier.
Firstly, people are of great hospitality, so I spent very few nights under my tent. Then I saw the poverty and distress of much of the population. It is not uncommon to see children with dogs and chickens trying to find something to eat in the many open dumps. The contrast is striking when you see that Mercedes-Benz constitute over 80% of the fleet.
The fact that all places where crowded, however, made me feel constantly under pressure, so that joining Greece allowed me to decompress a little.
