Summary of the western and southern coasts (Turkey)

I had planned, at first, to reach Istanbul before going directly to Ankara and then in Iran. Finally, I changed my mind and I pedalled along the western and southern coasts.

Before entering the country, I had a slight apprehension about the hospitality of its inhabitants. Soon, however, I am amazed by their sympathy and generosity. I am often invited to drink the CAI and / or sleep in people’s places; so much that I stop frequently for several days. I spend great moments both in town, countryside and in the tourist resorts where, despite the amount of tourists, I am greeted as a traveller and invited as a friend.

I get new friends every day. Sometimes friends of a day, other times friends of long standing, who offer me great assistance and help me so much that I do not always realise what happens.

The beautiful seaside landscapes and the spring climate beautifully flavoured with orange only reinforce the happiness that I have to travel here. This certainly gives me the taste to come back one day.
In summary, travelling along the coast was a pure happiness despite some inevitable small "concerns" (Traveller’s diarrhoea, vague road map ...)
